Unless you have a planned c-section, that option may not be one that you heavily consider when you think about how your birth will play out. Many women come out of c-section a little stunned and wondering what just happened (and what to do now). Not Liz! Liz felt empowered by her emergency c-section. Knowing that that isn’t the norm for many women I wanted to interview her so we could hear her story of a long labor and eventually an empowering birth. Liz also chatted with me about body image postpartum and putting in the work to FEELING better, however that looks for you.
